Over the past few months the site has seen many updates many of which you will know about, but the majority you will not.
The main update from my point of view is the new anti spam setting which we have been testing for a while now. The setting seem to be working so for a month we have decided to open up the forums to a more simple email activation approach. Where you sign up and just click an activation link in an email to set up an account rather than waiting for an admin to approve your account.
If the trial goes OK it will become a permanent thing, but if someone does manage to get through and spam the forum, we will go back to the old system.
