Log from Frank Green on 7.11.2011 at http://coord.info/GC15EMQ Arnfield Lane, Tintwistle, Derbyshire. The cache description ended with "For the past three years there has been a kestrel in this area during the winter months, often seated on the nearby telegraph pole."

Frank's log entry consisted of two words....... No kestrel

Ratcliffes log for K9 Squirrel Wood.
See the log from Peter and Di, well I did the same. And blokes aren't meant to scream.... :D And typically just as I screamed, a muggle hove into view. That took a bit of explaining, I can tell you!
The CO is a bugger !!! :)

Link to the post doglets was referring to http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=6a28b896-2e1e-4c23-b819-c6c63e5a5ac2

Think we need to have either a link to the log or a quote from it so we know what is being referred to.

This is a thread for funniest log nominations, cache links are all very good, but there has to be a specific funny log that is nominated. Where above I said it did not matter I now reverse that decision.  Funny LOGS only, not caches/strings of logs or anything else.

Rather like this one of Just Alans refering to our cache GC36FJY Grizzly's Goose House

"Think I must have found this before Ethel_the_frog, as when I got there not only was the tube frozen to the ground, the rock covering the hiding place was frozen in place as well.

After a number of attempts to remove the rock with boots/sticks/etc failed, I managed to free it off with a leg bone from a dead animal that I found nearby (yeuck!). I then needed the bone again to free off the tube with the log in.

The things I do to find a geocache"

Collie Wobbles log for http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC2DBG1. An eventful find, this series, especially this cache, is highly recommended.

"We embarked along the path amist the crops, noting the warnings (and threats about stepping off of the footpath onto private property), only to be followed by a mad cabbage bashing woman (she walked right over them) checking us both out with a pair of binoculars. I must admit we did get the urge to 'moon' her at one point. Stars spotted the cache while I stopped for an 'is she still there drink' but we thought the cache might be compromised if we got it so walked away. Cabbage basher turned around as soon as we had cleared the next style, so we doubled back, retrieved the cache and signed the log hiding over the other side of the hedge! We think she was only watching to see if we picked anything up."
Denial is futile. Accept your addiction, and cache on.

Are we allowed to self nominate?  If so, I'd like to add this log for your consideration.  Brief explanation as to why the log ended up like it did.

On Sunday, I finally got around to locating Cov Shooter (you need to complete a space invader style game to get the co-ordinates).  10 minutes after leaving the cache I realise I had logged it with the wrong date.  So when I go to log the find...

That's the 2nd emcache sheep saved I think! Another one was stuck in the black hole in Schrodingers tunnel I seem to remember?
