Do you remember stuff from your childhood that just doesn't happen now, for whatever reason?

I will start, I remember my Gran using a twin tub washing machine in her back garden, and putting her washing through a mangle before hanging it on the line...

Never mind ya gran my mum had a twin tub and my wife did when she was a student.

Remember when you didnt have to wear seat belts in cars? I remember when they werent even fitted to cars. Never mind child seats. My dad used to put his jumper on the handbrake for me to sit on and change gear for him.

Remember when fish and chips came wrapped in newspaper?
