Hi everybody. Following my appearance on the UK Geocaching Podcast, I thought I'd have a go myself. I'm a complete beginner at podcasting so hopefully it can only get better. Hope you like it.

All the best for the venture Pete.

What you really need is a geocaching song to introduce it. Here's one I wrote a couple of years ago (everyone should know the tune  :) )

Geocacher Song

I'm a geocacher, I'm okay.
I sleep all night and I cache all day.

Cachers : He's a geocacher, he's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I put 'em in trees, and under rocks.
I hide them in ivy.
On Wednesdays I go shoppin'
And buy Tupperware in threes.

Cachers: He puts 'em in trees, and under rocks.
               He hides them in ivy.
               On Wednesdays he goes shopping
               And buys Tupperware in threes.

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I wear bright clothes. I cache at night.
I like to frighten cats.
I wear my head torch round my waist
And look a proper prat.

Cachers : He wears bright clothes. Caches at night.
               He likes to frighten cats.
He wears his head torch round his waist
               And looks a proper prat.

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

I hide micros. Small nano's too,
Male torso's and a Bat.
I wish I'd been a techie
Just like the great Web Rat.

Cachers : He hides micros. Small nano's too,
               Male torso's and a Bat?!..........

Chorus He's a geocacher. He's okay.
He sleeps all night and he caches all day.

If at first you do succeed - try not to look too surprised

Should that load on a PC, or does it need Apple kit to run on?

I listened to the show on the way home last night.
Well done on the content and I shall look forward to the next one. How often are you planning on producing a show?
Can I just suggest that you turn the volume down on the filler music.
I needed to turn the volume up for the speech bits and was then deafened when the filler came on - bit of a shock when driving down the motorway!

Points noted about the volume. I struggled with the editing to be honest but I think I know where I went wrong. I now have the help of an expert, my 14 year old 'Youtuber' son.
I'm hoping to do one episode a month and I've already got loads of ideas, including an interview with someone who comes on here a lot.
The itunes link only works if you've downloaded the itunes player.
The link that plays on Windows Media Player is the one that Ve8 kindly pointed out.
Thanks for listening, I really appreciate it.

Loving the podcasts

Hate cordless drills.  You can guarantee they go flat before you finish using them.

hahaha loved the tip to stay undetected whilst geocaching by pretending to be drunk.
